Emotional Eatings =s Emotional Urgency

At the core of every mindless choice there is an emotional urgency.

We eat for exquisitely good reasons. When we eat and it’s not about the body asking for fuel, it’s an emotional hunger that we try to satisfy. We eat in response to frustration, disappointment, boredom or pain. We eat to protect ourselves from what has already happened. This is the eating that puts extra pounds on us. Compulsive Eating is a primary symptom, not the primary problem. This mindless process of feeding a yawning hunger of behavior can be changed with success at understanding and recognizing the cause and root of the issue. Focus and awareness begin the process of self-discovery and self help. Deep and lasting transformation is possible. Activities to open recognition of behavior pattern give participants immediate tools. Q & A
